A drunk lay slumped outside a bar, in serious need of a drink.
A passing Religious Head and His friend another Leader of a religious Centre started to lecture him on the evils of alcohol.
“You should be more like God, like me,” said one.
The other argued, “No, my son, more like me. I am more like God.”
The two holy men then argued over which was more like God.
Finally, the drunk interrupted. “I’m more like God than either of you arguing hypocrites. And if you give me Hundred bucks, I’ll prove it!”
They accepted his challenge and each handed him Fifty Bucks each. As the drunk stood, he said, “You two go sit in the bar and when I enter you’ll have your proof.”
The Religious Head entered first and the barkeeper was surprised but keeping the decorum asked, “Good afternoon, Holy One. What’ll you have?”
Then the Second one, the Leader too entered and the barkeeper said, “Good afternoon, Holy One. What’ll you have?”
Then the drunk came in waving his Hundred Bucks.
The bartender shrugged, “Oh, God. Not you again!”
Are we Like the Religious Head or the Religious Leader or the Drunk.
We love to argue we love to fight yet we never ever leave ourselves, we hold on to ourselves. Religious Head, Leaders argue for superior nature yet are far removed from the divine.
Drunk on the other hand is on a flow and knows that other shall recognise him
Divinity is in all of us
The only thing required is to let go and be part of Him
