Spiritual names and religious names have great relevance for those who believe in them. India is a country that always used name for attainment of the worth of the name. Most of the names came from religious scriptures and were mostly dedicated to one or other gods, demi-gods, or natural elements. The whole purpose of naming was to bring the characteristic nature and philosophy of origin holder if name to bless and guide the seeker in life.
Religious names came from classes or group of sects following a lineage. These names were core to the belief and faith of the followers of the religious nature and context of the lineage. Each name symbolized the heights one can attain.
The names lost there relevance once the state was attained. It is from here spiritual names emerge for it is part of cosmic system, it is the embedded name within our own creation, a symbol, a syllable, a sound. These names emerge from the part of life that begins when one discards the conditional norms of attainment.
The journey to spiritual names emerge from religious names only then transforms into the true relevant state of being that brings forth the truth in the most revealing manner.
Most of people who disrespect the names ire are casual about it find no truth for they are not even respecting the name they were given from parents, then how can they give respect to names given by religious lineage or spiritual energies for they are bound by there adamant nature of conditional living. ~ Maitreya Rudrabhayananda
