On 26th June 2002, it was blessing for me to travel to Tunganath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, Kalpeshwar with Ācharyagüru Swami Shri Chidananda Bharati ji. Walking from Gauri Kund Ācharyagüru Swami ji hinted at certain things which made me aware of the event going to take place. It was a painful thing for my heart was shocked. We had darshan at Kedarnath while coming back, we rested near Chorabari Tal Lake, then Ācharyagüru Swami ji said we should have a bath at Mandakini river. After bath it was a blessing for me to near Ācharyagüru Swami ji for like a small child he put his head in my lap and slept for some time.
After waking up Ācharyagüru Swami ji spoke and the whole night just merged into the lightness of the sky, he stood up, gave me the mala he was wearing to be passed on the one who would be Soul Eternal and Kamandalu.
I could only take his blessing nothing more mattered for His smile, HE remains alive in my heart through his immortal teachings. On July 5, 2002, Ācharyagüru Swami Shri Chidananda Bharati ji took Jal Samadhi in Mandakini river near Kedarnath.
Ācharyagüru Swamiji once said – “The best service to a saint is to live your life as per the principles and thus become like him.”
I pray and hope to live upto the teaching of the holy saint.
