Misery is caused when there is struggle between the inner and outer self. The inner self is calm and quiet for it is always in joy and happiness while the external holds on to the conditions and restrictions that are either layered on by the society, friends, relatives and family or self generated through the years of conditioning.
The conditions are so strong that normally people donot listen to inner sense of joy and happiness but they hold on permanently on the outer needs and desires that causes then to suffer and lead a life of misery.
Such a deaf person does not have faith in the least neither does he believe that nature shall provide whatever is needed in the required time and space nor does he believe that whatever is with him or within his reach is for serving and helping others in the most divine manner for that in itself shall remove the misery from the life of the people.
As the purity within rises and the clarity comes the more easily the tasks gets accomplished faster and quicker.
It is purity of the self and clarity that shows one the true level of productivity that one can achieve.
The equation is beautiful
Efforts X Purity = Achievement of the goals.
This becomes cumbersome when the achievement is to be done by team then
Efforts X Number of people X Purity = Achievement of Goal.
When there is variation in the purity the results gets drastically effected while efforts remain the same. This purity has been called by many names with many characteristics passion, happiness, sewa (selfless service), understanding, depth, acceptance, realization allowing one to gain the bliss. The purity when it is applied with all its essence then the work happens easily. Normally people never see this equation in their life for it has its basis in Meditation and Sattva Guna.
